Down Pillows - New products made according to the same principles
While Zizzz is primarily known for our excellent woolen products, our down products are truly something special.
At the end of the day, our down products aren’t so different from our wool products, as all our products follow the same formula: the use of only natural materials, an adherence to the highest quality standards, and local manufacture.
The finest down on the market
First, we take the finest down from Eastern Europe. Geese and ducks from this region grow thicker, more insulating down and feathers due to the cold weather. Our down pillows are 85% down and 15% feathers, so that they’re soft, but not so soft that they don’t support your head and neck.
We then wrap our down with the softest organic cotton.
An ethical product
It’s not enough for our products to be high quality - they also have to be ethical and sustainable. This is why these products were made in partnership with the DownPass label.
DownPass is an organization that ensures that the geese and down used in the textile industry live in humane conditions. In particular, they make sure that our down doesn’t come from force-fed animals or animals used for foie gras.
Goose Down Pillows
It’s fair to say that our goose down products are equal to the best down pillows on the market. Due to their larger size, geese have larger down clusters than ducks, hence the higher price relative to duck down. In addition, our goose down pillows are manufactured in Canton Bern.

Duck Down Pillows
Our duck down pillows find a happy medium between the extreme softness of our goose down pillows and the milder softness of our wool pillows.
Our duck down pillows are made in the Black Forest region of Germany.
