20-10-2024Beim einen Kissenbezug merkte ich, dass es doch zu klein ist für unser Kissen. Die nächst grössere Grösse war dafür dann etwas zu gross. Die Qualität ist prima. -

A 40x60 cm pillowcase fits a pillow measuring 40 × 60 cm. This compact rectangular size is often used for children's pillows and travel pillows, but it also suits adults who prefer a smaller pillow. At Zizzz, the 40x60 pillowcase comes in several percale designs made of GOTS-certified organic cotton and in satin made of certified organic cotton, in ecru. All our pillowcases are made in Portugal.
Does a 40x60 cm pillowcase fit my pillow?
Measure your pillow lying flat from seam to seam, or check the label. 40x60 and 60x40 cm are the same size; only the order of width and length is swapped.
A 40x60 pillowcase does not fit a 40x80 cm pillow: with the same width, it is 20 cm too short. Zizzz currently does not offer 40x80 cm in its Swiss pillowcase range.

40x60 pillowcase for children's pillows
40x60 cm is a common size for children's pillows. You'll find more covers for children's beds under Children's pillowcases, and matching pillows under pillows for children.
A note for babies: pillows are not recommended for infants to sleep on. A 40x60 pillowcase is therefore intended for children who already use a pillow.
Percale or satin in 40x60 cm?
Percale is woven in a plain weave and feels matte and cool. In satin, the threads float over longer stretches on the surface. This means fewer interlacing points, so the fabric feels smoother and gets its subtle sheen. You'll find the full comparison on our pillowcases page.
