01-12-2023Diese traumhafte, leichte Kinderbettdecke haben wir für unser Enkelkind gekauft, nachdem auch wir Erwachsenen die Schafwollbettdecken als Vierjahreszeiten- und Winterbettdecke seit 1 1/2 Jahren haben und begeistert sind.
Die Kleine hat von Baby an den Schafwollschlafsack und nun auch das Kinderschafwollbett. Sie fühlt sich unter der Bettdecke angenehm temperiert an und ist nicht schwitzig.
Alle genannten Produkte haben eine hervorragende Qualität, schmiegen sich wunderbar dem Körper an und sind atmungsaktiv.
Für mich die besten Bettdecken die ich je hatte.

Même remarque que pour le général. Vu que c'est un duvet enfants susceptible d'avoir des tâches, peut-être un petit conseil lavage et aide pour enlever les taches naturellement sans abîmer le duvet serait bienvenu. -

Sleep is essential to your child's growth and health. Our children's duvets are filled with Swisswool (88% Swiss virgin wool, 12% plant-based fibres) and wrapped in organic cotton, for a breathable sleeping climate with year-round temperature regulation. Why choose a duvet designed specifically for children?
A children's duvet isn't simply a smaller version of an adult one: its size, weight and warmth are designed for a child who moves around a lot during sleep and sleeps in a smaller bed. A duvet that's too big leaves too much loose fabric, which can be uncomfortable or get tangled; one that's too heavy can cause overheating.

From what age can a child use a duvet?
Duvets and loose blankets aren't suitable for babies: a loose blanket can cover the face. We recommend using a well-fitted baby sleeping bag until at least your child's second birthday. It stays in place, and your child can neither get tangled in it nor kick it off. Once your child moves to a toddler bed after that — generally between two and five years for the 100x135 cm size — a light, correctly sized duvet can gradually replace the sleeping bag.
Why is Swisswool suited to children's sleep?
Wool naturally absorbs and releases moisture, and regulates body temperature rather than simply insulating. Children often sweat more at night, since they move more and sleep more deeply than adults: a breathable filling reduces wake-ups caused by feeling too hot or too cold.

For children, wool is the more comfortable choice. Children sleep more deeply, move more and sweat more than adults. Wool absorbs that moisture and releases it again, so the climate under the duvet stays even. Down insulates superbly but releases moisture more slowly: under a down duvet a child gets too warm faster, and wakes more often.
Then there is everyday life. A Swisswool children's duvet goes in your own machine on a 30°C wool cycle — with down that is considerably more work, and with a child's bed washing is not a minor detail. And because wool moves moisture away, house dust mites find little of the damp environment they need.
A children's duvet suited to every season
The 290 g/m² fill weight is calibrated for a child's room at a moderate, heated temperature: warm enough in winter, breathable enough to avoid overheating the rest of the year. This suits most temperate rooms; always adjust bedding and pyjamas to the room's actual temperature.

Manufacturing and natural materials
The virgin wool comes from Swiss sheep. Our children's duvets are made in Portugal, where the organic cotton cover is sewn and the filling assembled to the same quality standards as the rest of our range.
How do you wash a wool children's duvet?
Use a 30°C wool cycle, with a detergent suited to wool. Avoid high-speed spinning and dry the duvet fully before storing it. Air it out regularly. Always follow the instructions on the sewn-in label.
