Zizzz duvet cover – maximum sleeping comfort in soft satin or percale bed linen
Duvet covers – maximum sleeping comfort in soft satin and percale bed linen. Our duvet covers, like our other products, are made from only the finest, all-natural materials. At Zizzz we believe that sustainability and comfort can be combined, which is why we chose pure organic cotton when looking for materials for our duvet cover.
Pure organic cotton has many advantages over synthetic fabrics as it is breathable and regulates moisture very well. This not only promotes your sleep quality, but can also prevent the formation of bacteria and odour.
Organic cotton is hard-wearing and is an excellent material for bed linen. Its surface is pleasantly soft and does not irritate the skin. In addition, organic cotton is easy to care for compared to other fabrics, as it requires very little ironing. That is why we offer our duvet covers in two different types of cotton: Percale and Satin.
A duvet cover made from eco-friendly materials – nature's best
Synthetic fibres are made from petroleum and dyeing them with chemicals often pollutes them. We have made sure that only natural materials are used for our duvet covers, which are suitable for allergy sufferers and extremely kind to the skin. Percale and satin duvet covers are biodegradable and completely free of harmful substances.
GOTS-certified cotton: The organic cotton we use has been awarded the GOTS seal. The GOTS seal (Global Organic Textile Standard) is a globally respected standard for the processing of textiles. Not only the cultivation of the natural fibres is controlled, but also the further processing, the transport routes between the individual production steps and the use phase by the consumer.
In order to protect nature, organic cotton cultivation completely avoids the use of chemical pesticides, genetic engineering and artificial fertilisers. In addition to ecological criteria, however, a number of social criteria (such as fair payment for workers or the prohibition of child labour) must also be fulfilled for a product to be awarded the GOTS seal.
Percale duvet cover:
Duvet covers made of percale are becoming increasingly popular, as percale is crease-resistant and therefore also non-iron. Percale is produced using the plain weave and is a fine-threaded and densely woven cotton fabric. Due to the fine processing of the fibres, percale feels incredibly soft on the skin and guarantees a particularly restful sleep.
The unique weaving technique allows air and moisture to circulate more easily in percale duvet covers, which is particularly important as we lose up to two litres of sweat per night while sleeping. Percale also prevents the development of bacteria and the accumulation of mites.
Percale duvet covers are very durable and only need to be replaced very rarely. The smooth, fine surface makes them perfect for hot summer days, but they can also be used in winter because they regulate the temperature. Depending on the temperature, they have either a cooling or warming effect on the body.
Satin duvet cover:
Satin is made in an intricate satin weave, where the weft threads predominate on the top side and the warp threads on the underside. Satin lends an elegant look to any bedroom with its smooth and shiny surface.
Satin is particularly gentle on the skin and ideal for allergy sufferers. Satin duvet covers can have a cooling effect in summer, but also provide warmth in winter and keep you pleasantly warm. Satin is an absolute favourite when it comes to bedding materials, as it is easy to care for and hard-wearing due to its fine weaving technique.
Our duvet cover is available in several sizes and colours
Our percale duvet covers have a different colour on the top side than on the bottom side. This makes them particularly versatile and a perfect match for our pillowcases and fitted sheets.
Percale duvet covers are available in the colour combinations: grey & beige, white & grey and white & beige. They are offered in six different sizes: 100x135cm - 140x170cm - 140x200cm - 160x210cm - 200x210cm and 240x240cm.
Our satin duvet cover is only offered in one colour and that is the natural colour of the cotton fibres. In the production of our satin duvet covers we completely avoid dyes, which makes our satin duvet covers particularly kind to the skin.
Satin duvet covers are offered in three different sizes: 160x210cm - 200x210cm and 240x240cm.
Our contribution to sustainability
As we attach great importance to sustainability and environmental protection, we have designed our products in such a way that they do no harm to the environment. That is why we do not use synthetic materials and instead use purely natural materials.
To shorten our transport routes and reduce CO2 emissions, we produce percale and satin duvet covers exclusively in Europe.
A durable duvet cover: Because we use durable materials such as organic cotton, you can use our duvet covers for a long time. Organic cotton is hard-wearing and very rarely tears. In addition, organic cotton is biodegradable and does not end up in landfill like other textiles.
A duvet cover free of harmful substances: Harmful substances in textiles can get into our waste water through repeated washing and trigger allergies in humans. That is why we completely avoid the use of chemicals and pesticides in the cultivation of our organic cotton.
A dye-free duvet cover: When dyeing fabrics, chemicals with heavy metal content are used, which have a negative effect on our health and can harm nature. That is why no dyes are used in our satin duvet covers. Our percale duvet covers are available in three classic colours and can be changed by turning them.
